  • Lisa owns her own boutique studio, located 8/8 Jubilee Avenue, Warriewood Northern Beaches.

    I nurture the newbies, my classes are varied and flow, modifications are given and I challenge the clients who are fitter.

  • Water & a small towel to place on the reformer machine and grip socks, which we sell at the studio.

  • Ladies: Active wear with stretch, tights, pants and tops/t- shirts

    Men: Shorts with stretch + a built-in liner * Pilates exercises will have your legs in the air and we don’t want anything to fall out!

    Grip Sox: Must be worn for hygiene and safety, they can be purchased at the studio.

  • Please complete the online Health Screen and Waiver form, prior to attending your first session or class. If you have any relevant reports from surgeons, doctors or physiotherapists (or the like), we would appreciate a copy for our records and to assist with lesson planning.

  • All new clients are required to have a one-to-one session with me.

    So, I can get familiar with your ability and assess your fitness level, you get to know me

    and I will get to know your body, we can see if we are a good fit.

    *If you have a past injury and you know how to manage it, and have the all clear by your practitioner, I will give modifications throughout your session.

    You may wish to stay on for private one to one session, OR get ready to join a group class.

    * Some clients may need more than one private session, before joining a group class.

  • Using the Pilates Reformer machine with springs creates resistance, increasing muscle strength and tone. Creates long lean muscles, Increased flexibility, better balance, Improved core engagement Body awareness, Low-impact.

  • No! Flexibility in the body is a common concern for many people. Don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes.

    There is stretching involved, but never to a point that’s harmful to the individual’s body. Variations are always given to those less flexible, but the great thing about Pilates is it actually acts as an aid to assist you to become flexible and stronger.

  • Yes, my clients range from 16 years to 80 years.

  • Yes, absolutely! Pilates was designed by a man “Joseph Pilates”

    We welcome and encourage men to attend, I teach tri-athletes, surfers, soccer players, golfers and the non-sporty guy.

    My style of teaching Men is different to teaching ladies.

    I receive feedback that my sessions are challenging, and work their muscles in different ways activating their deep stabilising core muscles and increasing their flexibility.

    Start your own “Men’s Pilates Group class”

  • All privates and classes are 50 minutes.

  • I teach a small group of 4 in the class, some clients will need modifications, don’t worry you won’t get left behind, as the class will flow. We start with some great stretches you will work your whole body and then we finish off with stretches.

  • Yes, this works well as your first group class will cover all the essential Pilates exercises and principles. Then I build up the repertoire of Pilates exercises. Coming in a group is fun and makes you accountable.

  • Yes, depending on the fitness level and current or past injuries. Get in contact with me.
