I love working with “bodies” and seeing how my Pilates Reformer and Fitness programs transform my clients, it’s about awareness and connection. My dynamic style and flow, incorporates Pilates and fitness principles and technique. I nurture the newbies and challenge the regulars with a twist of fun! So many of my clients find me when they feel unbalanced, through their time in training with me, they reconnect with themselves and those around them.

For 40 years I have been educating and sharing our passion of health and fitness. I am dedicated to helping everyone achieve their most optimum health. Health and fitness has to be fun, otherwise you won't go back for more. I  hold numerous fitness certifications which include STOTT Pilates Certified Reformer Instructor, Pilates Institute of Australasia. Yoga Fit USA, Cert III & IV Personal Training, Power Plate Cert.

I’m most passionate about sharing my knowledge in Pilates, the Reformer is a popular piece of pilates equipment. Introducing the benefits of using the Reformer machine, to my clients as their form of exercise excites me.

Being a fitness professional, I have several exercise options and choices, Pilates Reformer is my personal choice of exercise and equipment, as it has given me the best results for my back, overall strength, posture and toning. I want to share my passion and knowledge with my clients.

Are you seeing double?

I am a twin, my twin sister Adele and I are The Rancan Sisters, we are not identical but we look very similar, we are best friends, we are both still involved in fitness and share our health and fitness knowledge and passion with our members. We followed our dream back in 1981 and are still living our dream

On holidays, you will find me

When I’m not walking visiting the sites, I take my travel yoga mat and will practice Pilates Mat and Yoga in my hotel room. If I can find a Pilates Reformer class, Yoga or you could also find me sweating in a Spin class. Then you would find me relaxing around the pool.

Find an exercise you love

Finding an exercise program that you enjoy and can attend regularly has so many benefits. Increases the levels of chemicals in the brain, such as serotonin, stress hormones and endorphins. Exercise can improve your sense of control, coping ability and selfesteem

In my past life I think I was a DJ

It’s all about the music selection and playlist when you exercise, it just motivates… It’s proven that music stimulates the part of the brain that controls movement, so it helps your body complete movement more efficiently. Increases the endorphins, can reduce blood pressure and physical and metal stress. I carefully select each music track for my playlists, thank goodness for Spotify!

When I’ m not teaching Pilates I am…

I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my partner Andy, if we’re not in the kitchen cooking (I’m more of the assistant) we are exploring Pittwater on Kayaks, stopping in at local cafes for a breakfast or lunch. We are so fortunate with the Northern Beaches coastline, there are some great walks from Palm Beach to Manly
